Welcome to New Beginnings and Wellness. I am passionate about providing a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your emotions, overcome obstacles, and make meaningful changes in your life. Using evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, I can help you achieve personal growth and well-being.   

Specializing in Perinatal Therapy and Individual Therapy

Perinatal therapy refers to therapy and support for individuals during the time surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, and the first year after birth. This type of therapy helps people manage the emotional and mental challenges they may face during this period, which can include anxiety, depression, or stress. Perinatal therapy can be helpful for expecting parents, new parents, or those who have experienced a pregnancy loss. It provides a safe space to talk about feelings, build coping skills, and get support to navigate the emotional ups and downs that often come with the perinatal period. The goal is to support mental health and well-being during a time of major life changes.


Navigating through some of these challenges can be overwhelming and there is support out there for you. I specialize in seeing individuals with the following challenges:

-Fertility/Infertility

-Pregnancy Loss

-High Risk Pregnancies

-Birth Trauma

-NICU Admissions

-PMADS (perinatal mood and anxiety disorders)


Individual therapy is a type of counseling where you meet one-on-one with a therapist to talk about your feelings, thoughts, and challenges. It is a safe space where you can explore personal issues, like stress, anxiety, or problems in your life, without judgment. The therapist listens, helps you understand your emotions, and works with you to find ways to feel better and make positive changes in your life. The goal is to help you feel more in control, improve your mental health, and work through any difficulties you are facing. 


Navigating through these life challenges can be difficult to get through on your own. Getting individual therapy can provide you with a nonjudgmental space to allow you to express yourself freely and learn tools to help navigate through life's obstacles. 

Teletherapy

New Beginnings and Wellness provides teletherapy sessions. Teletherapy sessions can be taken at home, work, or even your car (as long as it is parked). Per California Law, sessions must be provided while in state. Otherwise, sessions would need to be rescheduled upon your return.
